Characterised by a rich interplay of dark walnut timber and creamy hues, this HDB resale home was reimagined as a contemporary interpretation of wabi sabi living.

Starting with a complete overhaul of the existing interior, the design strips away dated finishes and fragmented spaces to create a home that feels calm, cohesive, and effortlessly timeless. A restrained material palette forms the foundation of the home, allowing the warmth of natural wood grains, tactile textures, and soft neutral tones to take centre stage.

The result is a home that embodies the essence of modern wabi sabi, minimal yet warm, refined yet lived-in, offering a tranquil retreat from the pace of everyday life.
